Cardplayer Lifestyle will be hosting its ninth Mixed Game Festival, a five-day affair at Resorts World Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, in conjunction with the PokerStars North American Poker Tour.
We’re thrilled to announce that Mixed Game Festival IX will see a return to the fabulous Resorts World Las Vegas from November 3-7 to stage our biggest and best live poker event ever. We have officially partnered with PokerStars to stage the upcoming Mixed Game Festival as part of their North American Poker Tour stop in Las Vegas.
The 2024 NAPT Las Vegas stop will be taking place from November 1-10. Within that time frame, Mixed Game Festival IX will be running, and there will be three co-branded tournaments on the NAPT schedule to go along with our hallmark low-stakes dealer’s choice cash games.
The three tournaments, which will carry buy-ins of $550 and $5,300, are H.E.R.O.S., and 8-game mix. The tournament structure sheets along with the exact dates and times they’ll be held can be found here.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the upcoming NAPT once again this year starting November 1st. And that’s not all – we’re bringing together two of our favorite events: the NAPT and the Cardplayer Lifestyle’s Mixed Game Festival! This is going to be an unforgettable experience. Mark your calendars and join us for an incredible time!” said Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World.
Grand Prizes, Giveaways, Ambassadors and More
Over the course of Mixed Game Festival IX, we will be awarding two seats to the $550 buy-in events along with a host of other prizes and merchandise.
Dealer’s choice cash games from stakes of $4/8 up to $20/40 will be running in the permanent 30-table Resorts World Poker Room, while the tournaments will be held on the second floor, in the venue’s convention center.
Both in the tournaments and in the cash games, our players will have the opportunity to mix it up with PokerStars ambassadors, with specifics and additional details to be announced in the coming weeks.
“We’re thrilled to once again be working with Cardplayer Lifestyle for this edition of the Mixed Games Festival” said David Curtis, PokerStars’ Head of Marketing Engagement Communications. “NAPT Las Vegas has been an event we’re all incredibly excited about, and to be able to add this additional element to the schedule and offer poker players of all abilities the chance to play different kinds of poker is great,” he added.
The festivities will kick off on Sunday, November 3, with a special “birthday bash” to celebrate my 43rd birthday.
Keep your eyes on this space as we reveal a host of additional surprises, giveaways, and special events that’ll be part of the festivities.
Mixed Game Festival IX Media Coverage
As always, we will once again be publishing daily recaps that highlight all the action during our Mixed Game Festival, and you’ll be able to find them right here on Cardplayerlifestyle.com.
Beyond that, we’ll also be producing coverage of other (non-mixed game) NAPT Las Vegas happenings on our site and social media channels.
And back once again by popular demand, our media partner Poker.org will be on hand to provide an extra layer of coverage via videos, pictures, and player interviews across their various channels and platforms in real time.

A Personal Note
This year’s NAPT stop in Las Vegas is guaranteed to be the brand’s biggest splash yet since reemerging on the poker scene after a lengthy hiatus. With PokerStars leading the charge, Mixed Game Festival IX will mark the occasion of us truly taking our series to the next level, and I can’t wait for mixed game lovers to join us and experience all the fun.
PokerStars has been the most frequent title sponsor of the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival since we first started running these series in late 2021. I’m so incredibly grateful to have had their ongoing support over the last couple years. To now have the privilege of fully partnering up with them is nothing short of a dream come true.
