A heads-up chop was made between Frederic Konowitz and birthday boy Johnny Bromberg, who had been down to a single 1k chip late in the tournament.
Konowitz was the chip leader at the time of the chop, making him the official Event 37 winner for $7,545. This marked Konowitz’s second SHRP major series trophy, having previously won a $150 No-Limit Hold’em tournament during the 2020 LHPO.
