With the board showing

and a little more than a million already in the pot, Paul Zappulla checked from the big blind, Mohammed Munaf moved all in under the gun with a big stack, and Zappulla went into the tank.
Eventually, somebody at the table called for a clock. A floorperson came over to begin the 30-second countdown, and when it reached the final 10 seconds, Zappulla emphatically called all in for 1,305,000.
Munaf said, “Good call,” and showed
for a nine-high bluff. Zappulla turned over
to win the pot with a pair of sevens. A couple of other players at the table called it a great call.
Paul Zappulla – 3,625,000 (45 bb)
Mohammed Munaf – 2,450,000 (31 bb)
With 44 players remaining from a field of 6,853, the average chip stack is around 3,115,000 (39 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $6,400 each, and action will continue tonight until about 2:00 am. Day 3 will begin tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
