The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event had 124 entries, and after pulling out the $14,700 for the prize pool, there was $20,020 raised in entry fees for Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida. (That’s in addition to all the money raised through the silent auction.)
A heads-up deal chopping up the remaining prize money was made and ultimately, the tournament was won by Willie Wiggins, collecting a first-place prize of $3,500 and a $3,500 seat into the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.
