ACR Poker runs ten named OSS XL tournaments on Sunday 20 September, with $6,875,000 in guarantees attached to them. Four of those guarantees can be measured against a recent field, and all four need more entries than the comparable event last drew.

The widest gap is at the top of the card. The $250,000 Mini Phil’s Thrill needs 100 entries at $2,650, and the same tournament drew 36 on 6 September.

The three Main Event flights account for $5 million of the total, and we have already worked out the entries each Main Event needs to cover. That leaves seven single-day events, and a ten-event Second Mortgage Week that starts the next day.

OSS XL Main Event Sunday: Ten Tournaments, $6.875M

The named card runs from a $16.50 buy-in to $2,650. The $2,650 and $1,050 Main Events open with Day 1A, while the $66 Main Event plays Day 1B, its second and final starting flight.

Both big Main Events return for Day 1B on 27 September. Day 2 follows on Monday 28 September, and the final tables play on Tuesday 29 September.

The $66 event moves faster. Anyone who bags on Sunday returns for Day 2 on 27 September, and satellites into it start at $6.60.

For scale, May’s $20M Online Super Series schedule spread that sum across 171 events and two weeks. Sunday’s three Main Events alone carry a quarter of it.

What Sunday’s Guarantees Need

ACR prices its tournaments as a prize-pool contribution plus a fee. At the top price point, $2,500 of every $2,650 buy-in reaches the prize pool, and at $630 the figure is $600.

Five separate ACR results since August land on that split to the dollar. Dividing each guarantee by the contribution gives the field it needs.

A guarantee only matters to a player if the field might miss it. When it does, the room tops up the prize pool, and every entrant plays for more money than the field paid in.

That is overlay, and it is not rare in this series. ACR’s own four-day report says 33 of the first 93 OSS XL tournaments beat their guarantees, which means 60 did not.

Four Guarantees Measured Against Recent Fields

Four of Sunday’s single-day events have a recent comparable with a published entry count. All four comparables came from 6 September, the opening Sunday of the series.

The gaps at the two lower buy-ins are small. OSS XL #13 turned a $600,000 guarantee into a $670,800 prize pool, and the same field would leave #215 132 entries short.

The Sunday Splash is closer still in percentage terms. Its 4,752 entries, from 3,024 unique players, made it the biggest field of the first four days, and the 20 September edition needs 248 more.

Two $2,650 Thrill Events Carry $450,000 Between Them

Phil’s Thrill is the high-stakes Sunday family built around ACR CEO Phil Nagy, who plays the events himself. The OSS XL editions carry $250,000 for Mini Phil’s Thrill #219 and $200,000 for Phil’s Thrill PLO #220.

Those are the two widest gaps we can measure. The three most recent fields ACR has published all came in below those targets.

Nagy finished fifth in that 36-entry field for $10,800, the same day as a runner-up finish in the $10,300 Phil’s Thrill for $78,000. The Hold’em event would need almost three times that turnout to cover.

A series slot with a published guarantee can pull a bigger field than a regular weekly, so the comparison is a floor rather than a forecast. It still marks where any overlay is most likely to sit.

The Mini also has a record of rewarding cheap qualifiers. John Kim’s $0.80 ticket became $42,700 in the 9 August edition, after he ran a Venom Vault prize through Survivor Flips into a $2,650 seat.

Every Entry Also Counts Towards a Leaderboard

OSS XL adds more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets through three leaderboards, split by buy-in. A $16.50 player is never racing a $2,650 player for the same prize.

Seven of Sunday’s ten named tournaments fall in the High tier, which is where the $15,000 first prize sits.

Second Mortgage Week Starts on Monday

The high-stakes schedule picks up the next day. Second Mortgage Week runs from 21 to 28 September with ten Nosebleed Stakes tournaments, two on each of five playing days.

Buy-ins run from $5,200 to $25,500 across No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, in 6-max and 8-max formats. It is the second Nosebleed Stakes series ACR has run in 2026.

The room expects 2003 Main Event champion Chris Moneymaker in the fields. The ACR Pro won an event at the first Nosebleed Stakes series of 2026 and has said he hopes to repeat it.

The First Read on the Main Events Comes Sunday Night

Day 1A entry counts will be the first evidence of whether the two big Main Events are on course. Each has one more starting flight on 27 September to make up any gap.

The single-day events get no second flight. The Thrill fields, the Sunday Splash and the $750,000 High Roller will show by Sunday night whether there was overlay to be had.
