GUKPT Grand Final Offers £1.2m in Guarantees and a £1 Route to The Victoria

The GUKPT’s 20th season ends at The Victoria Casino in London from November 19 to 29, with £1.2m in guarantees across the festival and a £500,000 Main Event at a £2,000 buy-in. The headline number will draw the attention, but for most players the bonuses around the tables matter just as much, starting with the cheapest way in. Grosvenor’s online feeders for the festival start at £1.

The route runs from £1 to £5 and £30 satellites, then into qualifiers that award Live Event Credit of £200, £300, £500 or £1,250. The credit can be used towards any GUKPT tournament, covers all or part of a buy-in and does not expire. It works like a bonus that can only be spent on poker, redeemed at a casino cash desk rather than withdrawn.

Goliath Showed What a Cash Reward Looks Like

This summer’s record Goliath drew 14,663 entries to its Main Event in Coventry, including re-entries, beating the 2025 total by more than 1,700. More than 6,500 players and visitors came to the city over 11 days. Demand for live poker in the UK has rarely been stronger, and the bonuses on offer to players helped drive it.

Through Grosvenor’s partnership with GGPoker, players who qualified or bought in through GGPoker received a 20% bonus on whatever they won, with a further £5,000 Last Longer bonus prize for the GGPoker player who lasted longest. Runner-up Jonny Elworthy collected an extra £33,466 on top of his £167,330. Unlike Live Event Credit, that bonus was cash added to a payout, with nothing left to spend before it could be banked.

Credit You Spend or Cash You Keep

Those two bonuses sit at opposite ends of how online casino offers are built as well. Most casino bonuses come with playthrough terms that have to be met before winnings can be taken out, while casino bonuses you can withdraw straight away pay winnings from free spins as cash, ready to go out through PayPal or a debit card like any other balance. Of the two, the bonus paid as cash is the easier to value, because nothing stands between the win and the withdrawal.

Live Satellites Close the Gap

At the venue, Target Cashout satellites at £200 plus £20 offer Main Event seats across the festival, with ten seats on offer on November 19, 22 and 25. The Midi has its own satellite at £125 plus £15 on November 18. Turning a few hundred pounds into a £2,000 seat is the realistic route for many recreational players, so the satellites matter as much to the field as the guarantees do.

Getting Paid at Every Stop

How quickly that money moves has become part of the same question. Fast poker withdrawals are now expected in online rooms, and players on the live tour move money between casino cages, bank accounts and online balances as they travel. On a schedule that crosses the country within weeks, speed of payment is part of what makes a festival worth the trip.

Blackpool Is the Last Stop Before London

The tour’s eighth leg, at Grosvenor G Casino Blackpool from October 29 to November 8, is the final stop before the Grand Final. It followed a busy October for the operator, which also staged 888LIVE at The Victoria, a G300 round in Manchester and G200 events in Newcastle and Portsmouth. Five cities in one month shows how much of UK live poker now runs through one casino group’s calendar.

What London Will Show

The £500,000 Main Event guarantee is the number to watch at The Victoria. Goliath proved the appetite at a £200 buy-in, but a £2,000 Main Event asks more of the field. If the Grand Final clears its guarantees, it will show that satellites and online credit are carrying players up to the bigger buy-ins.

The 20th season has also shown how much bonuses now shape where players go. Credit that never expires, £1 routes into major events and cash bonuses added to payouts all bring players through the door. For the final in London, the question is which of those bonuses fills the biggest field.
