The 2024 888poker LIVE Barcelona festival is slated to be held next month, from May 8-20 at Casino Barcelona. During January the circuit passed through Madrid, in March it was in Bucharest and in May will return to Spain where one of the most popular tour stops will play out. The 888poker LIVE Barcelona festival will have 17 events, with the €888 buy-in Main Event beginning on May 16 and featuring four Day 1s.

The festival’s marquee tournament will begin on Thursday May 16 and participants will be able to choose between four initial days to qualify for Day 2, which will begin on Sunday May 19 at 5 PM. The champion will be crowned on Monday May 20 and the final day’s action will be broadcast with a Live Stream on the 888poker Twitch channel.

The 888poker LIVE Barcelona festival will consist of a total of 17 events with buy-ins ranging from €55 for Ladies to €2,000 for High Roller. Satellites will also be played for the Opening Event, High Roller and Main Event. Three of the Main Event’s four starting days will feature blind levels of 45 minutes, with the last day’s (Day 1D) being a Turbo with blinds of 20 minutes.

2023 888poker LIVE Barcelona Highlights

Last year’s edition of this festival had 18 tournaments and the champions hailed from Spain, Italy, Malta, Finland, England and France. The €1,100 Main Event had 369 entries and distributed €354K ($384K) in prizes among the top 45 players. Among them were 888poker ambassador Vivian Saliba (40th) and Canadian Alexandra Botez (16th). The final table had representatives from half a dozen different countries and the champion was Tero Laurila from Finland, who took home a prize of ¢64K ($69K).
