2024 GPI Player of the Year Top 10
The player who claimed the GPI Player of the Year ranking was David Coleman, who achieved 48 cashes, 28 final tables, 10 podium finishes and 6 titles, with earnings of $5.2M. He placed fifth in the EPT Barcelona Main Event for $440K, sixth in the Triton Main Event at WSOP Paradise for $890K, and won one of the WPT Alpha8s at the Wynn for $730K.

2024 GPI Female Player of the Year Top 10
Among women in poker, Cherish Andrews stood out the most on the circuit, finishing at the top of the Player of the Year ranking. During 2024, she made 37 cashes, 9 final tables and 3 titles, with earnings of $829K. She had finished third in this ranking last year and this year she was able to finish first by beating runner-up Kristen Foxen.

The GPI Mid Major Player of the Year ranking went to Han Feng, who made 60 cashes, 18 final tables and 5 titles, earning $917K. He won two Champions Club Fall Poker Open titles in Houston, two WSOP Circuit rings and a Moneymaker Poker Tour win in Houston.

2024 World Poker Tour
The 2024 season of the World Poker Tour had 12 stops on its main circuit and passed through four countries: the United States, Canada, Australia and Cambodia. The WPT Voyage was also played aboard a cruise ship that toured the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas. The popular WPT Prime circuit had 14 stops during 2024 and visited the following countries: United States, France, Netherlands, Slovakia, Australia, Canada, Italy, Taiwan, Cyprus, Liechtenstein and England.
The 2024 WPT World Championship
For the third consecutive year, the WPT Grand Final was played at the luxurious Wynn in Las Vegas. This year saw a big innovation: the first edition of the ClubWPT Gold Gold Invitational, which was the freeroll with the largest freeroll guarantee in history ($5M). A total of 1,457 players who won their entry via Golden Passports took part in the tournament. The champion was Chase Bricker, who took home $1M without investing any money.
The 2024 WPT World Championship had 2,392 $10K entries and awarded $23,4M in prize money to the top 299 players. Among the finalists was legend Chris Moorman, who finished fourth for the second consecutive year and earned $1.1M. The champion was Scott Stewart, who earned the largest prize of his career: $2.5M.

2024 World Series of Poker
The 2024 edition of the WSOP in Las Vegas featured 99 events and among the winners were Calvin Anderson, Chance Kornuth, Scott Seiver, Dario Sammartino, Yuri Dzivielevski, John Racener, Sergio Aido, Nick Schulman, Daniel Sepiol, Robert Mizrachi, John Hennigan and two legends: Daniel Negreanu (his 7th bracelet) and Phil Ivey (he reached 11 bracelets).
The Main Event was historic, as it had 10,112 players and became the largest edition of the tournament. The prize pool was $94M and was distributed among the top 1,517 players. The champion was Jonathan Tamayo, who took home a prize of $10M. Third place went to sweden’s Niklas Astedt, who has earned $50M from online tournaments.
The WSOP had its European edition in Rozvadov with 15 events and the Main Event had 768 entries, with Italian Simone Andrian being the champion and earning $1.4M. The WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas was also played with 15 events and the Super Main Event $25K was won by Chinese Yinan Zhou, who collected $6M. Among the winners from the Bahamas was argentine Alejandro Lococo, who won the Triton Million $500K buy-in invitational and took home the seventh largest prize in the history of live poker: $12M.
WSOP Player of the Year
The standout player at the WSOP in Las Vegas was Scott Seiver, who made 17 cashes, 5 final tables, and 3 bracelets, earning $1.4M. He turns 40 this year and is a leading candidate for entry into the Poker Hall of Fame.
