The Autumn edition of the 2024 Malta Poker Festival is fast approaching, taking place from October 27th to November 4th at the Portomaso Casino in St. Julian’s, Malta. The festival’s Grand Event will have a buy-in of €550 and a massive guaranteed prize pool of €500,000.
Those who wish to qualify for the Grand Event for a significantly smaller investment can take advantage of satellites that will be played at a variety of online poker sites, including the Grosvenor Poker App and on the Coolbet platform, as well as the iPoker Network sites of Betsson, Betsafe, Nordicbet and Guts. There will also be live satellites at the festival venue. Below you’ll find all the options where you can qualify for the festival’s biggest tournament.
Grosvenor Poker App
The Grosvenor Poker App will allow you to qualify online for the €550 Grand Event and the €200 Ladies First at the Malta Poker Festival. Satellite winners will be eligible for packages that include tournament entry, hotel nights and many other benefits.
Satellite dates:
- Friday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m.: €25 Buy-In with 1 guaranteed €550 seat
- Sunday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m.: €250 Buy-In with 5 guaranteed €2,200 MPF packages
- Monday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m.: €50 Buy-In with 2 guaranteed with €550 seats
The MPF Main Event package includes:
- €550 Buy-In
- Hotel accommodation: 5 nights at the 5* Hilton Malta (€1,300)
- Spending money / Travel expenses: €350
- Hospitality: All-in Friday entrance to ‘Club Level 22’ Night Club for two, Casino buffet during Grand Event tournament play, Open bar at Portomaso Casino – beer, house wine, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee for 1 player during the 5 days
There will also be a satellite to the Ladies First! event on Sunday, October 13 at 9 PM that will have a €110 buy-in and will award €1,350 packages that include: Buy-In of €200, 4 nights at the Hilton Malta Hotel, Hospitality and travel expenses of €270.

Coolbet Passports
On the Coolbet platform, qualifying satellites will also be held offering the winners “Coolbet Passports”. They will be taking place in Step format with buy-ins of €0, €5, €30 and €150. The €1.600 Coolbet Passport includes the following:
- 5 nights accommodation at the Valentina Hotel with breakfast for two people (30 October – 4 November).
- 1 Grand Event Buy-in, worth €550
- All-In Friday entrance to Club Level 22
- Open Bar (beer/house wine, soft drinks, water, and tea/coffee) at Portomaso Casino during the 5 days of the package

The final satellite awarding €2,200 prize packages will be played on Sunday, October 13. Satellites awarding €550 buy-ins to the Grand Event will also be played on Monday and Friday. You can view the schedule of events in each of the poker client applications.
