PokerGO Monthly Preview: April 2025

The weather is heating up, and the action continues to soar during April on PokerGO. The tournament action continues with the PGT PLO Series, the U.S. Poker Open, and the Texas Poker Open.

Cash game action includes the continuation of High Stakes Poker and No Gamble, No Future, while the Champions Club Cash Game Festival returns to kick off the Texas Poker Open.

PokerGO Preview April

High Stakes Poker

The 14th season of High Stakes Poker will conclude in April with the final lineup of players who include Rick Salomon, Alan Keating, Nik Airball, Sam Kiki, Peter Wang, and Justin Gavri. These six players will play $500/$1,000 No-Limit Hold’em, and after the biggest pot in High Stakes Poker history playing out on the final episode in March, the action is expected to continue to be big to conclude this season.

No Gamble, No Future presented by PokerStars

The sixth season of No Gamble, No Future continues with a $25/$50 No-Limit Hold’em cash game led by PokerStars Pro Caitlin Comesky and PokerStars Commentator Joe Stapleton. They are joined Kasey Mills, Sashimi Poker, Jimmy D’Ambrosio, Justin Young, and Shawn Madden.

The final episode of the month will see a new lineup of players battling at $100/200 stakes. Rania Nasreddine, Josh Greenly, and Vinny Lingham make their No Gamble, No Future debuts, while returning to the felt are Matt Hanks, Phil Laak, Eric Hicks, and Antonio Esfandiari.

U.S. Poker Open

The seventh installment of the U.S. Poker Open returns from April 8-17 with an eight-event schedule. Buy-ins range from $5,100 to the $25,200 finale, and the player who accumulates the most PGT points throughout the series will be crowned the USPO champion and be awarded the Golden Eagle trophy and a $25,000 PGT Passport. Previous champions have included Stephen Chidwick, David Peters, Sean Winter, Martin Zamani, and Aram Zobian.

Texas Poker Open

Returning to Champions Club in Houston, Texas, for the second consecutive year, the Texas Poker Open includes 21 events. The marquee event is the $3,300 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event that includes a $2,000,000 prize pool guarantee and eight starting flights.

In 2024, Ren Lin topped the 735-entrant Texas Poker Open to win the $400,000 first-place prize and the Global Poker Award-winning Texas Poker Open belt buckle.

PGT PLO Series

The fifth installment of the PGT PLO Series returns during March Madness from March 25 to April 5. The 11-event schedule will have buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to the $25,200 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship and be exclusively Pot-Limit Omaha event with four bounty events.

The player who accumulates the most PGT points throughout the series will be crowned the PGT PLO Series champion and awarded the PGT Gold Cup and a $10,000 PGT Passport. Previous champions have included Lautaro Guerra, Daniel Geeng, Samuli Sipila, and Matthew Wantman.
