Players Remaining:  5 of 67

Shortly after Oliveiri’s elimination, with Razz still the game, Omar Yates got it all in on 3rd Street for 22,000 with a seven against Eric Polirer’s ten.

Eric Polirer:  (7x6x)  10x
Omar Yates:  (6x4c)  7x

Yates started with a 7-6 to Polirer’s 10-7, and the dealer put out the rest of their boards, with the final card face down.

Eric Polirer:  (7x6x)  10x2x4x9x  (Xx)
Omar Yates:  (6x4c)  7x8x7x3x  (Xx)

Even after pairing his seven, Yates had the lead with an 8-7 to Polirer’s 9-7. But Polirer turned over an Ax for his final card, giving him a 7-6-4-2-A, and Yates was drawing dead. (The best Yates could make would be a 7-6-4-3-A.)

Yates turned over his meaningless Qx, and Polirer won the pot to eliminate Yates in sixth place.

Eric Polirer  –  365,000  (15 BB)
Omar Yates  –  Eliminated in 6th Place  ($1,830)

With five players remaining from a field of 67, the average chip stack is around 335,000 (14 Big Bets). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $2,350 each.
