Alexander Farahi won the WPT Rolling Thunder Championship less than a month ago, earning $193,725.

With the board showing Ac7h2d10c on the turn, Will Failla bet 300,000 from the hijack, and Alexander Farahi called from the cutoff.

The river card was the 4h, Failla checked, and Farahi used a Time Chip to tank for a while before he bet 950,000.

Failla snap-called, and Farahi turned over 7d7c for a flopped set of sevens.

Failla mucked, saying, “You could have moved in on any street. I was never folding.”

Farahi won the pot to reach more than 5.5 million in chips.

The field will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final two tables (16 players).
