ACR Venom Vault Is Back: Free Key, Guaranteed Prize, $2,650 Seats

The Venom Vault is open again at ACR Poker, and every eligible player has a free key. It runs from August 3rd to August 30th with no empty doors behind it. Every key wins, and the best door hides a $2,650 seat in the $15 Million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms.

ACR Poker Venom Vault promotion running August 3rd to 30th with a free key and $2,650 Venom seats

The floor and the ceiling sit a long way apart. A key can return a Survivor Flip Step ticket worth $0.80, or the Golden Ticket itself. Find the Vault under My Account in the client: use a key, pick a door.

ACR has run this promotion six times and published every prize it has ever handed out. Those numbers say more about the Vault than any promo page will.

What Is Behind the Venom Vault Doors

Two prize types, one guaranteed outcome per key.

  • Survivor Flip Step tickets: $0.80 to $350, covering every rung of the flip ladder.
  • Golden Ticket: one $2,650 seat, usable in either Dual Mystery Bounty Venom.
  • No empty doors: every key returns a prize, which makes the free key pure upside.

ACR publishes four Survivor Flip ticket levels. Its promotional briefing puts the rungs at $6, $46 and $350, with a win at the top level converting into a full Venom ticket.

Survivor Flips are fast eight-player sit and gos where the last player standing takes the ticket to the next rung.

A mid-tier Vault prize is therefore a starting position on a ladder that ends at the same place as the Golden Ticket.

Every Way to Earn Extra Keys

One free key per eligible account is the baseline. Everything beyond it is bought or earned.

Buying is the blunt route: $2.99 per key, or 300 Combat Points per key.

There is a catch on that second option. Combat Points only exist inside the Elite Benefits programme, and anyone on the flat 27% rakeback deal is excluded from Elite Benefits by default. Our review explains how Elite Benefits rakeback works.

Buying keys means funding the account first. ACR takes Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and 60+ other coins with deposits credited almost instantly, which matters when a challenge window is closing. Compare the wider field on the best crypto poker sites.

Combat Points redeem at 100 to the dollar, so 300 of them is worth $3. Buying a key with points costs fractionally more than buying it with cash.

Points are the cashable currency of Elite Benefits, so spending them on a key is spending rakeback you already earned. Only a challenge key is genuinely free.

Anyone grinding on a default deal is leaving both on the table.

Earning is the better route, and this is the part the promo copy tends to skip. Twelve challenges are live, and they are worth wildly different amounts.

Challenge Keys
Complete 3 Survivor Flips in one day 1
Play 5 real money tournaments in one day 1
Play 25 raked cash game hands in one day 3
Play 25 raked Blitz Poker hands in one day 3
Win with 7-2 offsuit in Hold’em 1
Win with 4-2 offsuit in Hold’em 1
Hit a royal flush using both hole cards 10
Play real money poker for 5 consecutive days 2
Play real money poker for 10 consecutive days 3
Play real money poker for 15 consecutive days 6
Play Blitz, cash games and tourneys in one day 1
Refer a friend 10

The referral and the royal flush are the outliers at ten keys each. The cash game and Blitz hand challenges at three keys apiece are the most repeatable value for anyone already putting in volume.

The 7-2 Rule Finally Pays

Two rules govern the hand challenges. The win has to come at a postflop showdown, so preflop folds do not count, and the order of your hole cards does not matter.

Flashing 7-2 after everyone folds preflop earns nothing but a reputation.

ACR frames the challenges as running throughout the promotion and publishes no ceiling on how many keys a single account can collect.

The Vault Has Awarded 459,499 Prizes: Here Is the Breakdown

ACR has published the complete prize history from the six previous Venom Vault runs. It is an unusually open set of numbers for a promotion of this kind.

Read the top line before the bottom one. 90.3% of every prize the Vault has ever awarded was the bottom-rung Step 1 ticket, so the realistic outcome of your free key is a $0.80 flip ticket, not a seat.

Prize Awarded Share
Step 1 ticket 414,855 90.3%
Step 2 ticket 42,455 9.2%
Step 3 ticket 1,732 0.38%
Step 4 ticket 222 0.05%
Step 5 and 6 tickets (first Vault only) 47 0.01%
Venom Main Event entry 188 0.04%
Total 459,499 100%

Every key awards exactly one prize, so those counts are also key counts. A Golden Ticket landed 188 times in 459,499 openings, or roughly once every 2,444 keys.

Price that mix against the Survivor Flip ladder and the average key has returned somewhere between $2.70 and $3.00 in face value. Keys cost $2.99.

The short version. Open the free key, because it costs nothing and every door pays. Treat bought keys as a flat-value purchase rather than a lottery ticket, because the historical numbers put them at roughly what you pay.

Three things belong with that range.

  • The ladder has changed. Earlier editions priced the rungs differently and the first Vault ran six steps rather than four.
  • These are past results. The six runs used different key rules and ACR has not published the prize weighting for August.
  • Face value is not cash. These are tournament tickets, non-transferable below Venom level and worth what you make of them.

None of that touches the free key. It costs nothing and every door pays, so there is no argument against opening it.

Buying keys at $2.99 is the separate decision, and on this evidence it has historically been close to level money on face value.

What Playing Through Us Adds on Top

The Vault is ACR’s side of the deal. Play through us with code VIPELITE and everything below runs alongside it, every month, at no extra cost to you.

  • 100% first deposit bonus up to $2,000, the same headline offer every code carries.
  • Up to 65% rakeback through Elite Benefits, or a flat 27% weekly deal instead.
  • $4,000 monthly rake race paying the top 30 players, with $800 for first place.
  • Two $500 private freerolls every month, password protected and small enough to beat.
  • Road to the Venom: three $2,650 seats from eight tourneys costing $5, closing August 16th.

The rake race and the freerolls are the part most players underrate. A $4,000 leaderboard split across a field this size pays out at a rate no public ACR promotion comes close to, and you can see the current standings on the exclusive $4,000 monthly rake race page.

The freerolls run twice every month and the password only ever appears in the member area, which is what keeps the fields small. Current dates sit on our private $500 ACR freeroll page.

Every one of those is dead money if you signed up somewhere else, because ACR does not let you change affiliate after your account exists.

Not an ACR player yet? Sign up with code VIPELITE for a 100% first deposit bonus up to $2,000, up to 65% rakeback through Elite Benefits, and $5,000 a month in extras no other Americas Cardroom referral code offers. You cannot switch affiliate after the account exists.

What the Golden Ticket Buys

Back to the doors. The prize everyone is hunting works in either half of the biggest Venom series ACR has run.

  • $12 Million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty Venom: $500,000 top bounty, $5,000 minimum.
  • $3 Million GTD PLO Mystery Bounty Venom: $250,000 top bounty, $5,000 minimum.
  • Bounties activate on Day 2, and every player who reaches it is already in the money.
  • $10 Million+ in Venom Specials layered onto every flight date from August 17th.

Both events carry the same buy-in and run on parallel schedules across three weeks. Our full guide to the $15M Dual Venoms covers the structure and the guarantees in depth.

Check your flight before you plan your week. Every seat won from the Vault is issued for Day 1B on Sunday, August 16th by default. Unused, it can be applied to any remaining eligible Day 1 flight.

Here is the full schedule, so you know which flights are still in play once a ticket lands.

Flight Date Start
Day 1A Thursday, August 13th 12:05pm ET
Day 1B Sunday, August 16th 12:05pm ET
Day 1C Monday, August 17th 12:05pm ET
Day 1D Thursday, August 20th 12:05pm ET
Day 1E Sunday, August 23rd 12:05pm ET
Day 1F Monday, August 24th 12:05pm ET
Day 1G Thursday, August 27th 12:05pm ET
Day 1H Sunday, August 30th 12:05pm ET
Day 2 Monday, August 31st 1:05pm ET
Day 3 (NLH only) Tuesday, September 1st 1:05pm ET
Final tables Wednesday, September 2nd 4:05pm ET

Fire more than one Day 1 and the qualifying stacks combine for Day 2. Previous editions are a decent guide to what a Venom seat can turn into for anyone who runs deep.

Venom Vault FAQs

Is the Venom Vault key really free?

Yes. Every eligible player received one free Vault Key on Monday, August 3rd, and every key awards a guaranteed prize. There are no empty doors, so the free key cannot lose.

What are the odds of winning a Venom seat from the Vault?

ACR has not published odds for August. Across the six previous runs, 188 of 459,499 prizes were direct Venom entries, which works out at roughly one in 2,444 keys. Over 90% of all prizes awarded were the bottom-rung Step 1 ticket.

Are Venom Vault keys worth buying at $2.99?

On the historical numbers, buying keys has been close to level money. Priced against the current Survivor Flip ladder, the average key has returned between $2.70 and $3.00 in face value against a $2.99 price. That face value is in tournament tickets, not cash.

Where do I find the Venom Vault in the poker client?

Open the ACR Poker client and go to the My Account section. Use a key, pick a door, and the prize is revealed immediately.

How do I get more Venom Vault keys?

Keys cost $2.99 each or 300 Combat Points, though Combat Points are only generated on the Elite Benefits programme and not on the flat 27% rakeback deal. You can also earn them through challenges covering Survivor Flips, tournaments, raked cash and Blitz hands, consecutive days of play, specific winning hands and referrals. Challenge keys can take 24 hours to credit.

Which Venom flight does the Golden Ticket enter?

Every $2,650 seat won from the Vault is issued for Day 1B on Sunday, August 16th by default. If you do not use it there, it can be applied to any remaining eligible Day 1 flight through to August 30th.

Do Venom Vault prizes have cash value?

No. Survivor Flip Step tickets and the Golden Ticket are tournament entries, not withdrawable cash. Only $2,650 Venom tickets are transferable, and unused keys expire when the promotion closes.

Can I win a Venom seat without the Vault?

Yes. Venom Fever guarantees more than 1,500 seats through Direct and Mega Satellites, Beast Tournaments, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips from $0.80 and Spin to Get In from $0.01.
