Brock Wilson won Event #4: $5,000 Single Day at the PokerGO Cup in Las Vegas, taking home $112,720 after a heads-up deal with friend David Coleman. Wilson came back from a massive chip deficit to close it out, adding another title to a career already worth over $12.4 million in live earnings.
Wilson Flips the Script Heads-Up
Coleman did most of the damage on the final table, eliminating five players in a row including Connor Rash, Shannon Shorr, Jeremy Dan, Myles Mullaly, and Drake Kemper. Wilson sat back and watched, barely involved, before the two agreed to a deal that left $15,000 on the table for the winner.
From there it was all Wilson. He found value on river bet after river bet, with Coleman paying him off repeatedly. Coleman was dwindled to 10 big blinds before the final hand, where he flopped the nut flush draw against Wilson’s top pair. No help on the river, and it was over. Coleman finished with $105,680 for second.

How the Day Played Out
The $5,000 buy-in Single Day format ran on 25-minute levels with a live straddle for the first four levels. 104 entries generated a $520,000 prize pool, the second largest of the three single-day events in the series so far. Fifteen places paid, with a min-cash of $10,400.
The money bubble was anything but quiet. Short stack Nitis Udornpim went out in chaotic fashion with cards being flashed, multiple simultaneous all-ins, and a loud rail. Once the dust settled, a 14-player stretch went quiet for over an hour before Coleman sparked another run of eliminations capped off by a double knockout of John Hennigan and Brandon Hamlet, both holding ace-king.
What’s Next at the PokerGO Cup
This was the final single-day event of the series. The PokerGO Cup resumes Monday, March 9 with a $10,000 buy-in event, kicking off a week of higher-stakes action that wraps up with a $15,000 finale. Earlier this year, Jeremy Ausmus won the $1M PokerGO Tour Freeroll on the same stage. If Wilson’s run is anything to go by, the week ahead should be worth watching.
