The 2024 WPT Poker Showdown Championship drew 1,869 entries, and 643 players made it through ten levels in their opening flights. They return today at noon to continue the march to a title. The field will play ten more hour-long levels with a 90-minute dinner break at 6:30 pm.

Maxwell Young leads the return after a big late run on Day 1B and is the only player over 600K. Young, who owns a Tampa Winter Poker Open Championship title, has a long way to go to take the top spot with a lot of talent behind him. Valeriy Pak, Eider Da Cruz, John Krpan, and Myles German round out the top five.

Blinds start at 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante and the average stack is about 145,500 (58 bb).
