Eugene Katchalov raised from the hijack to 250,000, Richard Seymour reraised from the small blind to 625,000, and Katchalov called.

The flop came 10c9s7h, Seymour bet 300,000, Katchalov raised to 800,000, and Seymour called.

The turn card was the 7d, and both players checked.

The river card was the 3h, Seymour bet 1,200,000, and Katchalov used four Time Chips to tank for more than two minutes before he called.

Seymour showed Ad8d for an ace-high bluff, and Katchalov turned over 9h8h, to win the pot with two pair, nines and sevens. Seymour said that he should have bet 1.5 million on the river, and Katchalov smiled and said, “That would have made it harder.”

Eugene Katchalov  –  8,700,000  (70 bb)
Richard Seymour  –  4,650,000  (37 bb)

With 10 players remaining from a field of 1,417, the average chip stack is around 7,075,000 (57 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $65,000 each.

The field will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final six players for tomorrow’s 12:00 noon WPT Final Table, which will also be live streamed.
