With a $50,000 minimum buy-in and $100/$200 stakes on the table, Daniel Negreanu is set to make his long-awaited Hustler Casino Live debut on August 28. Hustler Casino Live confirmed Negreanu’s place in the lineup via a post on X, describing him as an eight-time WSOP bracelet winner and a GGPoker ambassador, according to PokerNews.
The appearance marks a notable shift for a player PokerNews characterized as primarily a tournament competitor who typically concentrates his schedule on the WSOP and PGT circuits in Las Vegas, with his main exception being WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas during the Christmas period. The rest of the August 28 lineup had not been announced as of PokerNews’ August 17 report, with HCL indicating the remaining players would be revealed at a later date.
PokerNews noted that the session could include Nik Airball, who made headlines ahead of a February 2026 HCL game against Kristen Foxen when he posted on social media that “Tourney players all suck, this is free money if I ever seen it!” That session did not go as Airball predicted: PokerNews reported he finished down $399,900, while Foxen booked a $17,100 profit.
Negreanu’s HCL appearance comes during a busy stretch. He has plans to stream the final ten days of the 2026 World Series of Poker Online on GGPoker in September, kicking off with the $10,000 PLO event — a format he described on X as “my jam.” The WSOP Online series, which runs from August 16 through September 29, features 33 bracelets and a $25 million guaranteed Main Event.
