With the board showing Kc4h2h9s on the turn and roughly 1.4 million already in the pot, Bruce Snell checked from the big blind, Sean Phillippi bet 450,000 from the hijack, and Snell check-raised all in for 2,925,000.

Phillippi tanked for a while before he called and said, “I could be wrong, but I think you’re on a draw.” Phillippi showed Kd10d for a pair of kings.

Snell turned over 6d5h for a gutshot straight draw, and he needed a three on the river to stay alive.

The river card was the 7d, and Phillippi won the pot with his pair of kings to eliminate Snell in 16th place.
