The opening event of the 2024 Poker Showdown drew 4,772 entries over eight starting flights to turn the $1,000,000 guarantee into a prize pool over $1.5 million. We had 600 players bag chips at the end of their flight and return this afternoon at 1 pm in the money.

Everyone is guaranteed at least $660 but everyone has their eyes on the $203,380 top prize.

They will play the last 10:32 of Level 15 before blinds go up and levels last 40 minutes until going to 60 in Level 24.

Naing Thu, member of last year’s WPT Poker Showdown Championship final table, leads the return with Howard Mash, Johnny Bromberg, Jeronimo Abalos, and Giuseppe Iadisernia rounding out the top five coming back.
