Event 1 Flight E: Frank Russo Leads 82 Survivors with 891,000

$400 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

When the field got down to 83 players, the tournament staff had everyone wrap up the hands in progress so hand-for-hand play could begin on the Money Bubble.

But one of those hands resulted in an elimination, so the remaining 82 players had survived this flight and made it into the money without any hand-for-hand play. Action ended at the end of Level 16, so their next hand would have been the first hand of Level 17, with blinds at 3,000-6,000 and a 6,000 ante.

Day 2 will begin with the blinds rolled back to the earliest finish from the eight starting flights, which at this point was late in the 3,000-5,000 level, when Flight B ended.

The full list of official chip counts will be posted a little later tonight, but here is a look at the players who bagged at least 400K:

1.  Frank Russo  –  891,000  (149 bb)
2.  Michael Vuong  –  495,000  (83 bb)
3.  Steffen Lue  –  482,000  (80 bb)
4.  Gregory McNealy  –  423,000  (71 bb)
5.  Jesse Mills  –  418,000  (70 bb)
6.  Robert Seaton  –  403,000  (67 bb)

Flight F is already underway, with registration open until about 9:30 pm, and there will be two more starting flights tomorrow (Saturday), with one at 10:00 am and the other at 5:00 pm.
