Event 1 Flight G: Yuge Field

$400 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$2,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 5:  200/400 with a 400 ante
Flight G Entries:  925

Robert Varkonyi

Players returned from the first break and we are nearing 1,000 entries, perhaps putting this field into the conversation for one of our biggest flights. We continue to expand the available tables as more players join, no waiting and a fast-moving line.

Some more friendly faces in the crowd include Robert Varkonyi, Antuan Bunkley, Jason Wandling, Marvin “The Duckman” Karlins, Michael Newman, Matt Yorra, Sheddy Siddiqui, George Miro, and Matt Glantz.

For those who are too young to recall; before there was a Chris Moneymaker, we had Robert Varkonyi as the amateur-turned-champ. Varkonyi came out of nowhere in 2002 and walked away with the WSOP Main Event bracelet the year before the field blew up in 2003.
