Jack Nathan

Shon Perez raised under the gun to 300,000, Jack Nathan reraised from the big blind to 850,000, and Perez four-bet all in.

Nathan thought for a bit before he called all in for about 3,800,000 with AsKc, but Perez turned over AhAd. Nathan needed to improve to stay alive.

The board came Qc10s3s5d2s, and Nathan flopped a gutshot straight draw and a backdoor flush draw, but improved no further. The pocket aces held up for Perez to win the pot and eliminate Nathan in 14th place.

Shon Perez  –  8,900,000  (89 bb)

With 13 players remaining from a field of 2,784, the average chip stack is around 4,275,000 (43 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $12,900 each.
