Damaso Benalcazar moved all in from UTG+1 for 185,000, and John Dobson, who just took his seat at this table and was still removing his chips from the rack, moved all in over the top from middle position.

Benalcazar turned over KsQd, and he needed to improve to stay alive against Dobson’s AhAc.

The board came 10c8d5d9c10d, and Benalcazar turned a gutshot straight draw, but improved no further. The aces held up for Dobson to win the pot and eliminate Benalcazar in 119th place.

As he was getting up to leave, Benalcazar smiled and told Dobson, “When I saw you walking up to the table, I thought, ‘This guy is going to knock me out.’” The table had a good laugh at that one.
