David Shmuel raised from the hijack to 4,500, Ricky Estep reraised from the big blind to 15,000, and Shmuel called.

The flop came 10d8d6c, Estep bet 30,000, and Shmuel asked for a look at Estep’s remaining stack. Estep showed about 37,000 behind, and Shmuel moved all in.

Estep tanked for a while before he called with KdKc for an overpair, and Shmuel turned over Qc9c for a double-gutshot straight draw. Estep needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The turn card was the 10c, giving Shmuel additional outs to a club flush draw, but the river card was the 4d. The pocket kings held up for Estep to win the pot and double up in chips.

Ricky Estep  –  167,500  (84 bb)
David Shmuel  –  146,500  (73 bb)

The final 27 players will finish in the money, with a min-cash worth $515.
