We are here for the second Saturday of the Showdown series and it will be a busy day in the Grand Ballroom. Not a lot of events but a lot of players will come through the doors as we try to push the $600 Mid-Series Showdown over the $2,000,000 guarantee.
The tournament drew 2,474 entries over the first six flights and another 1,400 are needed today to hit the mark. Might have some added value but it should get there this evening.
Players sit with 25K stacks and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 on Day 2 and 60 minutes in Level 24. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.
Play will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and those with chips will return tomorrow at 1 pm for Day 2.
