Event 30: James Juvancic – 8th Place ($1,700)

$600 Eight-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha 8 (Re-Entry)
Structure  | Payouts
Level 18:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining:  7 of 94

James Juvancic
James Juvancic

James Juvancic limped UTG+1 for 10,000, Lorell Pascual limped from middle position, Joseph Shammas limped from the button, and Jordan Stone raised from the small blind to 60,000. Juvancic called, leaving himself just 6K behind, and Pascual and Shammas both folded.

Stone moved all in dark before the flop came Qh10d10c, and Juvancic looked visibly sick at the sight of that flop, with no possible lows. Juvancic called all in for 6,000, and they turned over their cards.

Jordan Stone:  AsKd2d2h  (gutshot straight draw, pair of deuces)
James Juvancic:  Ad6c4h2s  (ace high)

The turn card was the 5d, the river card was the 8s, and Stone won the pot with two pair, tens and deuces, to eliminate Juvancic in eighth place.

Jordan Stone  –  245,000  (25 bb)
James Juvancic  –  Eliminated in 8th Place  ($1,700)

With seven players remaining, the average chip stack is around 269,000 (27 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $1,940 each.
