During No-Limit Hold’em, three players limp to see a flop of 6s6c3d, and all three players check.

The turn card was the 2s, and Adam Dickson bet 15,000 from the small blind. Joseph Olivieri raised from the big blind to 40,000, Ryan Hoenig called from the button, and Dickson folded.

The river card was the Kc, Olivieri checked, Hoenig moved all in for 125,000, and Olivieri thought for a bit before he called with 5h2h for two pair, sixes and deuces. But Hoenig turned over 7h6h to win the pot with trip sixes and double up in chips.

Ryan Hoenig  –  380,000  (10 BB)
Joseph Olivieri  –  295,000  (7 BB)

Two hands later, Dickson raised from the cutoff to 22,000, and Hoenig called from the big blind.

The flop came QhJh8h, Hoenig checked, Dickson bet 17,000, and Hoenig check-raised to 40,000. Dickson called.

The turn card was the 7s, and both players checked.

The river card was the 9d, Hoenig bet 40,000, and Dickson called. Hoenig showed Qc9s for two pair, queens and nines, and Dickson flashed one card — the Qd — before he mucked. Hoenig won the pot.

Ryan Hoenig  –  440,000  (11 BB)
Adam Dickson  –  465,000  (12 BB)

With four players remaining from a field of 52, the average chip stack is around 390,000 (10 Big Bets). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $4,790 each.
