Omaha Hi-Lo

A.J. Kelsall ran his short on the bubble to a solid 8 big bets or so, but lost much of his stack in Omaha Hi-Lo in a hand to Phil Hui when Hui went runner-runner to make a flush, leaving Kelsall with 37,000.

On his final hand, Kelsall raised all in for 37,000 under the gun and was called in three spots.

The flop came QhTd2s, Steve Bessette bet 20,000 from the small blind, Brian Gelrod folded in the big blind, and Hui called in the cutoff.

The turn was the Qs, Bessette bet 40,000, and Hui folded.

Bessette tabled AcQc5s4h for trip queens and has Kelsall’s AdTh7s3d drawing dead, ending Kelsall’s comeback in fifth place.
