Event 5: Yuval Bronshtein – 3rd Place ($5,565)

$600 Limit Omaha 8 (Re-Entry)
StructurePayouts
Level 22: 30,000/60,000 Limits
Players Remaining:  2 of 90

Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein finished in second place last night in Event #3, which gives him a great start on the SHRPO $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard.

Yuval Bronshtein raised from the button to 60,000, Brian Smith reraised from the small blind to 90,000, and Bronshtein called.

Smith bet 30,000 in the dark before the flop came Jd9d9h. Bronshtein raised to 60,000, and Smith called, thinking Bronshtein was all in. But Bronshtein had 10K left.

The turn card was the 2c, Bronshtein moved all in for 10,000, and Smith called.

Brian Smith:  AcKhKd7d  (two pair, kings and nines)
Yuval Bronshtein:  Js9s6d3d  (full house, nines full of jacks)

With no possible lows, Bronshtein needs to avoid a king on the river to stay alive, but the river card is — the Kc.

Smith rivers a higher full house, kings full of nines, to eliminate Bronshtein in third place.

Yuval Bronshtein  –  Eliminated in 3rd Place  ($5,565)

And here are the official chip counts for the start of heads-up play:

Brian Smith  –  1,825,000  (30 BB)
Kevin Love  –  425,000  (7 BB)

And the payouts they’re playing for:

1st:  $14,700 + SHRPO trophy
2nd:  $8,805
