Fans Livid as MrBeast Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas Delivers Absolutely Zero

Promises, promises

Fans of famed YouTuber MrBeast were excited for the “MrBeast Experience at Resorts World” in Las Vegas April 13-15, but it turned out to be a complete fiasco. According to first-hand reports, the entire event was essentially a pile of nothing and MrBeast himself, real name Jimmy Donaldson, did not make an appearance.

According to the Resorts World website promoting the event, fans purchasing a three-night package were to receive a MrBeast “mystery bag” containing MrBeast-branded merchandise, and one lucky guest would win a $10,000 gift voucher, redeemable for cash at the casino.

Attendees would supposedly be treated to “a variety of on-site activations designed to offer an immersive and unforgettable experience.”

But aside from the merch, nobody got any of that.

Three days of nothing

The reports from attendees spread quickly across social media on Tuesday. Over on the r/vegas subreddit, one person said they paid a whopping $1,000 for the MrBeast Experience, describing it like this:

“We went to it and paid $999 for three nights at Resorts World. We got a box of Feastables on day one and at 2:30pm on day two we got the merch bag with three random sized tshirts, shorts, and a hat. That was the entire experience.”

I’ve gotten more than that for free walking around my local community food festival.

One attendee told Las Vegas’ 8 News Now, “I was told to wait in my room for two days for a package to come, so I legit spent two days in my room for a package to come, and it was a box of chocolates.”

If the chocolates were MrBeast’s brand, eating them might have been worse than not getting them at all (ok, that’s a lie – I’ve had those Feastables chocolate bars and while they are legitimately poor quality chocolate, they are still edible).

Multiple people posted videos on X talking about their experiences, and they were all basically the same. Gift bags contained extra-small t-shirts for adults, there were no activations, and Resorts World staff had no idea what the event even was. One person pointed out that some of the exact same items were on clearance on MrBeast’s official online store.

Let’s try this again

To MrBeast’s credit, it appears that he is trying to make things right. He and his team have begun contacting event attendees to offer a new experience for free.

Las Vegas Locally posted a screenshot of a message from MrBeast on X in which he said “This definitely isn’t the experience we hoped they’d deliver,” adding that he is inviting everyone who affected by the mess to tour his studio in North Carolina.

A poster by the name of David Yacksyzn said yesterday that he was contacted by MrBeast’s team and offered free travel and lodging in North Carolina.

Of course, even if the make-up event and trip do come to fruition, they don’t do much for those who took the time off of work and school to attend the MrBeast Experience this week and now don’t have the time to do it all over again on the other side of the country.
