Bert “GirafGanger7” Stevens has signed with CoinPoker as a brand ambassador, ending a nine-month streaming hiatus and marking his first formal poker room sponsorship. The Belgian is the reigning WSOP Online Main Event champion and one of the highest-rated online MTT players in the world.

Stevens confirmed the deal on March 13, 2026, but the rollout started days earlier. He returned to Twitch on March 10 without explanation, quietly adding CoinPoker tournaments to his grind on CoinPoker’s newly rebuilt platform. The branded poster dropped three days later.

Stevens committed to streaming three to four times per week under the CoinPoker banner. His announcement was on-brand: “BIG NEWS! IM BACK BABY!”

Who Is GirafGanger7?

For anyone outside the online MTT world, Stevens is one of the most accomplished tournament grinders of his generation. His biggest moment came in October 2023 when he took down the WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker for $2,783,432, beating a field of 6,023 entries to claim his first bracelet.

He streamed the entire final table from a windowless attic on his Belgian farm, surrounded by empty bottles and a shredded gaming chair. The celebration clip went viral and remains one of the most-watched moments in online poker history.

The screen name has its own origin story. “The Giraf” was a Belgian bar where Stevens worked and lived upstairs. He started playing online poker after shifts and was there so often that “Girafganger” (literally “Giraf Goer”) stuck as his identity.

What Stevens Adds to CoinPoker’s Roster

Stevens joins a team that already includes Patrick Leonard, Bencb, Mario Mosboeck, Nik Airball, Abby Merk, Papo MC, YoH ViraL, and the Creator Squad on CoinPoker’s rapidly expanding platform. He is the latest in a wave of March signings as CoinPoker builds aggressively around its relaunch.

What separates this signing is the MTT credibility. Most of CoinPoker’s existing roster leans toward cash games, high rollers, or content creation. Stevens is a pure online tournament grinder with verified seven-figure results and a Sharkscope rating to match.

Stevens said in a recent interview that he worked with CoinPoker before the March 2 upgrade as an early promoter of the new software. Now that the platform is live, he says he is most excited about finally playing on the product he spent months talking about.

Abby Merk, Papo MC, and YoH ViraL all confirmed their deals in recent weeks. Stevens is the fourth new face in under a month, bringing CoinPoker’s active ambassador count to over a dozen.

Stevens streams on Twitch three to four times per week, with sessions that are MTT-focused, chaotic, and completely unfiltered. If you have followed online poker streaming at any point in the last five years, you already know the setup.

He describes himself as exclusively an online player, though he mentioned considering the WSOPE Main Event later this year. The Irish Open in Dublin (March 26 to April 6) is another possible live appearance.
