The third day of the Irish Poker Festival saw the crowning of another champion, in the shape of Bulgarian Ivelin Pavlov, who saw off a field of 49 players to collect the title of Irish Poker Champion in addition to the first place prize of €43,000! The final table also included Bart Lybaert, Noel Hayes, Joseph Wilkinson, Youness Barakat and Maximilian Sanders.

Congratulations to Barry Carson, who won the €250 No Limit Hold’em Freezeout after a three-way deal with Elizabeth Kerry and Barry McMahon. Party Poker MILLIONS Main Event Update

Day 1b of the Party Poker MILLIONS main event attracted a further 55 entrants, to take the total number of entries up to 99. By the end of level 11, when play stopped, there were 24 players remaining, who all progress into tomorrow’s day 2. The chip leader at the end of the day is Australian Luke Martinelli, who bagged a 319,300 stack, just slightly more than Nicolae Dragomir’s 305.900 total from day 1a. Luke finished over 100,000 chips ahead of Spaniard Ruben Lopez, who posted the second highest count of the day on 213,700. Also making it through the day was the ever smiling Michel Molenaar, who goes into day two with 123,900 cookies.

It’s a very busy schedule today, with multiple events running side by side, including day 1b of the Dublin Cup, a €1k Omaha single day event, plus day 1a of the €100,000 guaranteed Dublin Cup, which has a €550 buy-in.
