Daniel Negreanu and Chino Rheem have been part of the poker world’s consciousness going on three decades, and they continue to pull themselves to the top of leaderboards, particularly in PokerGO Tour events in 2025. Between the two players, they have cashed 16 times in PGT events this year alone with four victories, and they’re keeping the ball rolling at the Pot Limit Omaha series now taking place in Las Vegas.

Dan Negreanu won his 11th PokerGO Tour title this weekend by taking down a $5,100 event at the PGT PLO series for $182,850. Negreanu, who carried the nickname “Kid Poker” since the 90s, turns 51 this year. The win at the PLO series not only gives Negreanu the most PGT titles with 11 (one more than Stephen Chidwick), but also puts him one away from 50 lifetime victories.
His tenth PGT title came earlier this month in a $15,200 event at the PGT Mixed Games which was good for $292,500. Three days later he won another $300,000 for a fourth place finish in the $100,000 PGT Super High Roller Bowl Mixed Games event. All his cashes in 2025 came in PGT high roller events,
The “Kid” is seventh on the Hendon Mob’s all-time money leaderboard with more than $55.3 million.
James Chen was the runner-up for $151,275. Chen also bagged a third and a fifth at the PGT PLO series, which puts him just behind Rheem on the series’ leaderboard. The player who finishes with the most points earned during the series wins the title of 2025 PGT PLO Series champion which comes with a $10,000 PGT Passport bonus prize.
Dylan Weisman finished third ($79,500), Eric Blair fourth ($59,625), Xiaoxiao Song fifth ($47,700), and Bryce Yockey finished sixth ($39,750). The event attracted 159 entries who generated a prize pool of $795,000.
Chino Rheem again on top
Chino Rheem is having an incredible time at PokerGO Tour events in 2025, and he continued his run last week by winning Event #4, a $10,100 buy-in contest for $295,000. The win put Rheem on top of the 2025 PGT PLO Series champion leaderboard, 62 points in front of Chen.
Rheem is trying to be named a PGT series champion for the second time in March. He earned enough points at the PGT Mixed Game series to win the award and bonus price, and with six events left in the PGT PLO series, he’s in the driver seat. The win at the PLO series was his fifth PGT title.
He finished with the most points by winning a $10,200 8-game mixed event for $195,500, finishing third in a $10,200 H.O.R.S.E event for $114,000, followed by an eighth-place finish in a $15,200 Dealer’s Choice event for another $39,000.
Rounding out the top six of the Pot Limit affair was Ben Tollerene ($182,900), Allan Le ($129,800), Arthur Morris ($100,300), Michael Duek ($76,700), and Richard Gryko ($59,000).
Rheem’s victory pushed him over the $16 million in lifetime tournament earnings mark.
The 2025 PGT PLO Series is an 11-event series. Remaining events include the PGT’s first-ever mystery bounty tournament and the $25,000 PLO Championship. Final tables will be livestreamed daily on PokerGO.com.
