When the field got down to the final 84 players, the tournament staff announced that dealers should finish the hands in progress and then stop for hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble.

One of those hands in progress saw a flop of Kd3d2h. Phil Rigby checked from the big blind, Tamer Salama bet 50,000 from late position, and Rigby check-raised all in for about 200,000.

Salama called with Qd9d for a diamond flush draw, and Rigby turned over Kh10c for a pair of kings. Rigby needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The turn card was the Ad, the river card was the Jh, and Salama won the pot with his queen-high diamond flush to eliminate Rigby on the Money Bubble.

Tamer Salama  –  880,000  (29 bb)
Phil Rigby  –  Eliminated

Rigby was one of two eliminations as the Money Bubble was about to begin, so with 82 players remaining, there is no need for hand-for-hand play.

Stay tuned for a recap from this flight.
