$800 Platinum Stack No-Limit Hold’em
Prize Pool: $2,070,585 | Structure | Payouts
Level 29: 150,000/300,000 with a 300,000 ante
Players Remaining: 29 of 2,937

There was a four-way preflop all-in situation at Table 8, with Victoria Livschitz all in from the hijack for 4,700,000, Johnny Bromberg all in from the button for 7,950,000, Ruth Ruffman all in from the small blind for 8,350,000, and David Bradshaw covering all of them from UTG+1.
These were their cards in descending order of chip counts:
David Bradshaw:

Ruth Ruffman:

Johnny Bromberg:

Victoria Livschitz:

Bradshaw was in great shape with his pocket kings, and a chance to eliminate three players on one hand to become the big chipleader.
But the flop came

, and Bromberg shouted out when he hit his ace. He was now in great shape to more than triple up.
The turn card was the
, and the river card was the
.
As soon as the seven hit the river, Ruffman cheered, knowing the seven gave her a ten-high straight. It took Bromberg a moment to realize that while his pair of aces was no longer any good, he also had a ten for an identical straight.

So Ruffman and Bromberg chopped the main pot with ten-high straights to eliminate Livschitz in 30th place. Ruffman also won a small side pot worth 800,000 against Bradshaw.
If the kings had held up for Bradshaw, he’d have knocked out all three players and been sitting on a stack of 42 million, which would be worth a whopping 140 big blinds. However, even after losing this monster pot, Bradshaw is still in good shape with 40 big blinds.
Ruth Ruffman – 15,400,000 (51 bb)
Johnny Bromberg – 14,600,000 (49 bb)
David Bradshaw – 12,000,000 (40 bb)
Victoria Livschitz – Eliminated in 30th Place ($10,400)
With 29 players remaining from a field of 2,937, the average chip stack is around 10,125,000 (34 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $10,400 each.
Action will continue tonight until 2:00 am, which is a hard stop. The survivors will return tomorrow (Monday) at 1:00 pm to play down to a winner.
