Poker Dream 10 Vietnam Day 3 Highlights: Cui Yuan tops Main Event Day 1B; Mystery Hunter draws 546; SHR still open

 

The third day of Poker Dream 10 Vietnam witnessed multiple events buzzing up the Grand Hall of New World Hoiana in Hoi An. Leading the headlines was the Main Event which completed its second starting day with a light field of 57 entries. Out of the six player that reached the ITM qualifying round, Cui Yuan bagged the biggest stack to slide into the Day 2 top spot. NLH Turbo winner Thoo Ming Khoo also racked up with the second largest stack.

Over at the Mystery Hunter,  the five flights pulled in 546 total entries for a substantial prize pool of VN₫ 6,975,270,000 (~USD 275,000). When the 82 players return, they will all be guaranteed a piece of the cash pool with the top prize sitting at VN₫ 888,800,000 (~USD 35,000). Players will also have a chance at drawing for bounty rewards with the largest of VN₫ 500,000,000 (~USD 19,700) in the mix. The player to watch is Flight D leader Jung Haewon who enters with 96 bb.

Also up and running was Day 1 of the Super High Roller with 61 entering throughout the day. Among the attendees was defending champion / poker icon John Juanda who found a bag.

Registration is still open for the first two hours of Day 2. Thailand’s Luangsuwimon Wattana leads the 26 advancing players. The official prize pool and payouts will be posted once registration closes.
