PokerGO Monthly Preview: February 2025

Following an action-packed start to the year on PokerGO that included the conclusion of the 2024 PGT season, nothing slows down with February upon us.

The new PGT season continues with the fifth annual PokerGO Cup, the fourth installment of PGT Mixed Games, and the inaugural Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Mixed Games. Tournament poker continues at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas as their brand-new streaming room opens, while cash game action continues with High Stakes Poker, the debut of High Stakes Duel 6, and the return of No Gamble, No Future.

The month concludes with the PokerGO Studio hosting the annual Global Poker Awards to celebrate the industry and everything from the 2024 poker year.

PokerGO Preview February

PokerGO Cup

The fifth installment of the PokerGO Cup will take center stage inside the PokerGO Studio from February 11-20, with eight events on the schedule. Buy-ins start at $5,100 and climb to the $25,200 No-Limit Hold’em finale with every final table airing exclusively on PokerGO.com.

Every event is No-Limit Hold’em, and the player who can accumulate the most PGT points throughout the eight-event series will be awarded the PokerGO Cup and receive a $25,000 PGT Passport. Previous winners include Daniel Negreanu, Jeremy Ausmus, Cary Katz, and Jonathan Little.

PGT Mixed Games

The fourth installment of PGT Mixed Games will take center stage inside the PokerGO Studio from February 25 to March 5, with seven events on the schedule. Buy-ins start at $5,100 and climb to the $25,300 10-Game Championship finale with every final table airing exclusively on PokerGO.com.

Poker variants include H.O.R.S.E., 8-Game, 10-Game, Dealer’s Choice, and the introduction of Mori’s Mix; a rotation of one-winner limit games including Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, Badugi, and 2-7 Triple Draw. For the player who can accumulate the most PGT points throughout the seven-event series, they will be awarded the PGT Gold Cup and receive a $10,000 PGT Passport. Previous winners include Dan Zack, Chino Rheem, and Max Hoffman.

Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Mixed Games

The inaugural Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Mixed Games will be a 10-Game rotation and feature some of the world’s best mixed game players. The three-day event will be livestreamed on PokerGO.

High Stakes Poker

The 14th season of High Stakes Poker will welcome a new lineup of players for February that include Alan Keating, Ryan Feldman, Marc Kulick, David Phan, Peter Wang, and Britney Wang playing $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em.

The next lineup will be led by Phil Hellmuth, and include Jared Bleznick, Scott Seiver, Markus Gonsalves, Justin Gavri, Kento Mori, and Seth Gottlieb playing $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em.

No Gamble, No Future

The sixth season of No Gamble, No Future will begin at the end of the month and be presented by PokerStars. The season opens with Ethan “Rampage” Yau, Justin Young, Randy “3Coin” Sadler, Alexander “Wolfgang” Seibt, Markus Gonsalves, Joel Prelog, Luiz “Brazil God” Rizental, and Paul Gunness playing $100/$100 No-Limit Hold’em.

Players making their series debut this season include Joe Stapleton, Kasey Mills, Caitlin Comesky, Phil Laak, and Rania Nasreddine.

High Stakes Duel 6

High Stakes Duel returns with Jared Bleznick taking on Matt Berkey in this new format that is a rotation of No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha. The minimum buy-in is $100,000 and the blinds are $200/$400. Who will come out as the champion?

Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza Poker Series

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is kicking off their new livestreaming room with two final tables from their upcoming Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza Poker Series. On February 10 will be the MSPT Poker Bowl IX $1,600 Main Event final table, and on February 16 will be the Card Player Poker Tour $1,600 Main Event.

After the final tables, the first cash game live stream will be on February 21.

6th Annual Global Poker Awards 2024

The 6th Annual Global Poker Awards will be held inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino. More than 35 awards are expected to be presented including 2024 GPI Player of the Year, Player’s Choice for Toughest Opponent, Poker ICON, Best Vlogger, and Event of the Year.
