Manila Super Series 20 Main Event Approaching
Headlining this season’s lineup is another edition of the Manila Super Series Main Event, posting an equally sizable PHP 10,000,000 (~USD 171,800) prize pool to match its previous offering last January. Only two days await tournament players as they gear up for the anticipated games which kicks off this Wednesday, May 29th. Four flights will play through, each charging an entry fee of PHP 20,000 (~USD 350) for a starting stack of 30,000.
Following its regular format, each qualifying round will play down to ITM at 15% of the field, coursing through 30 minute blind levels and a shorter 15 minute duration for Flight D Turbo. Survivors will then move forward to extended 40 minute gameplay for Day 2 in hopes of landing a spot onto the final table. In addition to the juicy payouts, the top two finishers of the Main Event will receive an APPT Manila Main Event Package – seat and accommodation, valued at PHP 120,000 (~USD 2,090) taken from the prize pool.
With several opportunities to run up a stack, the Best Stack Forward policy will be in effect while also allowing unlimited re-entries for those with padded bankrolls. Those who find the buy-in slightly too steep can take advantage of several Main Event qualifiers available daily for a fraction of the price at only PHP 3,000 (~USD 50).
