The usual gang of poker pros have showed up at the North American Poker Tour in Las Vegas, and like clockwork, several of them have found the podium yet again.

Stephen Chidwick, Sam Soverel, Nick Peterangelo, and Joao Simao all added trophies to their massive collection at the series that is presented by PokerStars and is part of the PokerGO Tour.
Cool dozen for Chidwick
Chidwick scored his 12th PokerGO Tour title in the $50,000 Super High Roller for $557,930. It was his second title in a week following his victory in the Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event during the PLO II series that just wrapped up
The win puts him 12th on the PGT 2024 leaderboard. The top 40 players get an invite to the PGT $1 Million Championship that starts on Jan. 12, next year. The higher he climbs on the leaderboard, the more starting chips he gets in that freeroll.
The $50,000 Super High Roller brought in 23 entries, and included Seth Davies, Sam Soverel, Isaac Haxton, Sam Laskowitz, Jason Koon, Nick Petrangelo, Ben Tollerene, Brandon Wilson, Dan Smith, Cary Katz, Bryn Kenney, David Chen, and Jesse Lonis.
The top three cashed:

| 2nd | Thomas Boivin | Belgium | $334,700 | 134 |

The 12th win put Chidwick in a tie with Soveral for the most wins, but it only last a few days before Soveral broke free.
Sam Soverel hits baker’s dozen
A dozen of everything is a lot, but for Soverel, who looks like he hasn’t eaten a donut in ages, it’s only a brief stop on the line of success.
Soverel and Chidwick remained tied on the top of the most win’s of the PGT leaderboard just a few days before Soverel pushed himself to the sole position again by winning the $12,300 PokerStars Cuatro Knockout for $116,840 — plus $84,000 in bounties.
The event attracted 39 entrants, and paid the top six. Issac Haxton was the bubble boy.

Peterangelo wins seventh

Although Peterangelo’s hasn’t had much success in PGT events this year, the win pushed his lifetime tournament totals deeper into the $40 million territory, according to The Hendon Mob.
He now sits in 121st place on the 2025 leaderboard, far away from the 40-player threshold needed to sneak into the $1 million freeroll in January, but there are plenty of events for him left in the year to earn enough points to get in.
