Evan Sandberg jammed from the button and Robert Mitchell thought about it and called all in for 5,950,000 in the big blind.
Mitchell: K♦7♠
Sandberg: K♣8♦
Mitchell was pipped, but the 5♦2♦A♦ flop gave him diamond outs. The 6♦ hit the felt on the turn to give him the flush, and the meaningless 6♠ river confirmed the result for Mitchell to score the double and narrow the gap.
Evan Sandberg – 14,525,000
Robert Mitchell – 11,900,000
