Event 40 of the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Black Chip Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 281 entries generated a prize pool of $44,960. Additionally, a $3,000 seat to Event 50 was up for grabs.
A three-way deal took place and Scott Sommer was the chip leader at the time, making him the official Event 40 winner for $7,208 and the Event 50 seat.
This also marked Sommer’s second SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won a $200 Quad Stack Bounty No-Limit Hold’em Event at the 2023 RRPO.
