The $10,000 Main Event begins on July 2, with the final table scheduled to take place July 15-16 inside the Horseshoe Events Center.

“Each year allows us to refine further and improve the WSOP offering, and 2025 will be no exception,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “Expect the biggest poker events on the planet, the best action and the most intense competition as we once again welcome tens of thousands of poker enthusiasts eager to experience the magic of the WSOP.”

The full schedule will be released sometime in the first quarter of 2025 and online pre-registration will open after all events have been determined and approved by regulators.

The WSOP promised to bring back many of its “fan favorites,” including the Mystery Millions, Millionaire Maker, the Senior and Ladies championships, and the H.O.R.S.E championship, but also teased some unnamed new additions and formats.

“As the calendar flips to 2025, we’re looking forward to inviting the global poker community back to the iconic Las Vegas Strip for the 56th annual World Series of Poker,” said Jack Effel, Senior Vice President of Poker Operations and World Series of Poker at Caesars Entertainment. “Building on last year’s triumphs and familiar faces winning WSOP bracelets, we are excited to see who will expand their legacy or become a new legend by passing poker’s ultimate test in the game’s most iconic arena.”

This will the 56th year for the WSOP in Las Vegas, and the fourth year it will be held on the Strip. The schedule will include online bracelet events both in the states where WSOP Online operates and internationally, through GGPoker.

This will be the first year the series will be held under its new ownership group. The intellectual property rights were sold to the NSUS Group, the investment company that owns GGPoker and other online gambling sites, for $500 million in August.

Last year’s series was a booming success. According to the WSOP, more than $438 million in prize pools were generated by 229,553 entrants in 2024. Those are all-time records for the series.
