WPT Global launched Race to Glory on 1 September 2026, a six-month promotion for players in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia ending with a $160,000 Porsche Macan for the Porsche Grand Finale winner in March 2027. Poker and casino play feed two monthly leaderboards and Chase Tickets into the qualifier.

The finale pays 27 places, with $66,000 in cash and $13,900 in WPT Asia Live Event credit behind the car. There is also a $1,100 direct buy-in for anyone who would rather skip the points race.
Everything below is taken from the promotion’s terms and conditions for the 1 September start.
How WPT Global Race to Glory Works
The season runs from 00:00 UTC+7 on 1 September 2026 to 23:59 UTC+7 on 13 March 2027, with March set aside as Porsche Championship month.
| Element | Detail |
|---|---|
| Dates | 1 September 2026 to 13 March 2027 (UTC+7) |
| Monthly leaderboards | Poker Championship and Casino Race, reset on the last day of each month |
| Season Points | All points combined, never reset, expire after the campaign |
| Porsche Chase Ticket | 1,000 points = 1 ticket, credited at month end |
| Ticket caps | 2 per month, 12 for the whole promotion |
| Grand Finale | March 2027, 27 places paid, Macan to the winner |
| Direct buy-in | $1,100, March 2027 only |
| Car | Porsche Macan, approximately $160,000, collected in Thailand |
Converted points stay on the Season Points Leaderboard, so cashing in tickets costs nothing on the season table. What the season table itself pays is not stated anywhere in the terms.
How Poker Points Are Earned
The Poker Championship pays points four ways: participation, placement, buy-ins and daily activity. Qualifying tournaments are announced before each month starts, and participation points scale with buy-in level, frequency and field size.
- Placement: 100 points for a win, 80 for second, 65 for third, 40 for fourth to tenth, 15 for any other cash.
- Buy-ins: 5 points per $100 in tournament or cash game buy-ins, capped at 50 points per day across both.
- Daily activity: 5 points for the first tournament of the day, 10 points for 100 cash hands dealt three-handed or more.
The buy-in cap is the number that shapes the month. Fifty points a day is $1,000 of buy-ins, and over a 30-day month that is 1,500 points before a single placement or activity point.
Add the daily activity points and a full-volume grinder sits on 1,950 points a month without cashing a tournament. That is one ticket, with the second month’s ticket depending on final tables.
Casino Race: $100 = 5 Points
The casino board is simpler. Every $100 wagered on live casino games or slots earns 5 points, with no daily cap.
Players can compete on both boards in the same month. The terms flag collusion, hedging, opposite-side betting, arbitrage and bonus abuse for review on the casino side.
Monthly Prizes, Key Fragments and the Live Package
Monthly prizes are paid in Season Points rather than cash, and the poker board pays seven places deeper than the casino board.
| Finish | Poker board | Casino board |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1,000 points | 1,000 points |
| 2nd | 800 points | 800 points |
| 3rd | 600 points | 600 points |
| 4th to 10th | 300 points | No prize |
Both monthly winners also receive one Porsche Key Fragment and a physical collectible card. Six fragments, or three monthly wins in a row on either board, unlock a WPT Asia Live Main Event package, limited to one per player.
With six full months on the calendar, six fragments means winning a board every single month. The three-in-a-row route is the realistic one.

Three Routes Into the Porsche Grand Finale
Chase Tickets are one of three ways in, and the only one that rewards the points race.
- Porsche Last Chance Qualifier: played with Chase Tickets roughly one week before the finale. Spare tickets work as re-entries.
- Direct buy-in: $1,100, on sale in March 2027 only.
- WPT Global invite: campaign winners and brand ambassadors, at the room’s discretion.
Twelve tickets over six months is the ceiling, so the qualifier field is capped by design rather than by turnout. Unused tickets are removed once the campaign ends.
WPT Global’s Asia push this year opened with February’s WPT Asia Series and its nine Rings, a $15 million festival on Asia-friendly start times.
The $30M Summer Overdrive series for Asian time zones followed in July. Race to Glory extends the same focus into 2027 with a prize that is easier to picture than a guarantee.
Porsche Grand Finale Payouts
The finale pays 27 places. Only the winner takes the car; everyone else is paid in cash plus WPT Asia Live Event credit, which is spent on pre-approved WPT tournament expenses and cannot be cashed out or transferred.
| Finish | Prize |
|---|---|
| 1st | Porsche Macan |
| 2nd | $20,000 + $2,500 live event credit |
| 3rd | $10,000 + $1,500 live event credit |
| 4th to 9th | $3,000 + $750 live event credit |
| 10th to 27th | $1,000 + $300 live event fund |
The car is in Thailand and the winner travels to collect it. There is no cash alternative, though WPT Global says it will try to help the winner sell or trade the Macan, without guaranteeing it can.
The $160,000 is WPT Global’s approximate valuation, and the terms note the final value may vary with specification and exchange rates. Tax on the prize is the winner’s problem.
Who Can Play
Race to Glory is open to players in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, aged 18 or over, one account per household or device. Customer support for the promotion runs through WPT Global’s official LINE account, listed on the promotion page with a QR code.
The first monthly leaderboards close at 23:59 UTC+7 on 30 September, and the Season Points prize is the one thing left for WPT Global to publish.
