The fourth Ace Poker League – APL Online series – concluded its three-week run at Natural8 with China’s WuYi Wang aka Loris51 adding another feather to his cap at the Green Dragon Main Event. Loris51 shipped the CNY 1,814,029 (~$249.5K) top prize and claimed the limited Green Dragon Avatar.
Loris51 is no stranger to winning at the online platform. Some of Loris51’s previous successes include side event titles at WPT Asia Online Series and APT Online Series. At the 2022 WSOP Online Series, Loris51 came close to a bracelet, finishing 5th at the 6-Handed Bounty.
The Green Dragon Main Event – drew 10,929 entries across numerous flights for a prize pool of CNY 20,350,672 (~$2.8 Million). Only 1,032 players advanced to the ITM round. By the time the final table was formed, Loris51 ranked 5th in the pecking order and way up top was evbluff who held on to face Loris51 at heads up. Unlike Loris51’s impressive portfolio, evbluff only had $12.6K in earnings on the GG Network, however that has now catapulted with a payday of CNY 1,339,101 (~$184,190) for runner-up.
