With 40 players remaining and a $3,100 pay jump still at stake, Nick Funaro raised from the hijack to 80,000, and Cherish Andrews went into the tank on the button.
While she was thinking, a dealer at another table shouted “Payout” as David DiBernardi was eliminated in 40th place.
A few seconds later, Andrews smiled and said, “All in!”
Andrews moved all in from the button for 85,000. Martins Adeniya called from the big blind, and Funaro called the additional 5K. Any additional betting would create a side pot.
Both players checked to the river on a board of , and all three players turned over their cards.
Martins Adeniya: (king high)
Nick Funaro: (ace high)
Cherish Andrews: (pair of aces)
Andrews’ aces held up for her to win the pot and triple up in chips.

Martins Adeniya – 2,650,000 (66 bb)
Nick Funaro – 2,125,000 (53 bb)
