Championship Day 1A: Thomas Carroll Four-Bets It Preflop

$3,500 LHPO Championship (Re-Entry)
$2,000,000 Guaranteed  |  Structure
Level 3:  200/400 with a 400 ante
Day 1A Entries:  266

Thomas Carroll

Thomas Carroll raised from the hijack to 1,300, Ricardo Eyzaguirre called from the cutoff, and the player on the button reraised to 4,000.

Carroll four-bet it to 18,000, and Eyzaguirre quickly folded. The player on the button tanked for a while before he folded, and Carroll took the pot.

Carroll let the player on the button choose one of his cards to reveal, and the card he chose was the Qs.

Carroll has had some deep runs in our Championship events here at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, finishing 21st in the 2023 WPT Showdown Championship (earning $38,000), 15th in the 2021 SHRPO Championship ($57,515), and ninth in the 2022 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open ($77,215).

Thomas Carroll  –  60,000  (150 bb)

The tournament clock shows 266 entries so far, and registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the start of Level 9, around 9:15 pm.

There will be a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6 (about 5:30 pm), and action will continue tonight until the end of Level 10 (around 11:15 pm).
