Event 45: Howard Mash – 8th Place ($4,500)

$400 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
Prize Pool:  $207,240  |  Structure  |  Payouts
Level 26:  25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 ante
Players Remaining:  7 of 628

Howard Mash raised to 500,000 (leaving about 120,000 behind) from under the gun and Maurice Hawkins called in the cutoff and showed AsAd for a set of aces, mistakenly thinking Mash was all in.

The flop was AcQcJc, Mash checked, Hawkins went all in with his set of aces, and Mash thought for a bit before he called with AhTh for a pair of aces with a straight draw.

The Ts turn and Qd river completed the board, no help to Mash, ending his tournament in eighth place.

Maurice Hawkins  –  2,800,000  (56 bb)
Howard Mash  –  Eliminated in 8th Place  ($4,500)

With seven players remaining from the field of 628 entries, the average stack is about 1,795,000  (36 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed $5,800.
