Poker Dream is back at the charming town of Hoi An, Vietnam, for a weeklong series hosted at first class resort New World Hoiana Resort and Golf. This is the brand’s third visit to this picturesque location. Games kicked off today, April 29, and will continue until May 5, 2024.

Players late in the news may be surprised at seeing a new Poker Dream logo all over the grand hall. Yes, unveiled last month in Malaysia, early attendees of the Vietnam event are now getting their first look. To set the wheels in motion, an official ceremony was held with Poker Dream founder Winfred Yu presenting and welcoming the players.

To conclude, Yu saved the best for last, the presentation of the new Poker Dream Main Event trophy. A fierce golden dragon wrapped around the new logo. The Poker Dream 10 Vietnam Main Event champion will be the first to claim this golden beauty.

What To Look Forward To At Poker Dream 10 Vietnam

The ongoing series is Poker Dream’s tenth festival since inception in 2022 and only its third visit to Vietnam. The biggest winner to date is Jie Hao Chan who topped the 2,096 Main Event record field at the recently concluded Malaysia event for a payout of RM 1,731,000 (~USD 366,580). As for Vietnam, the inaugural stop in 2022 paid out a large sum of VN₫ 3.378 Billion (~USD 139K) to local player Minh Anh Nguyen. The next champion could be you!

Poker Dream Champions

The Main Event kicks off on April 30 and will play out to the end of the series. Players have plenty of chances at securing a piece of the VN₫ 20 Billion (~USD 800K) guaranteed prize pool with eight entry flights scheduled. Two buy-in levels are available: VN₫ 24 million (play down to 10% of each field) and VN₫ 36 million (play down to 15% of each field). Make sure to check the Player Guide for the complete structure.
