Red Dragon Poker Tour Jeju Championship Event
Setting the bar for all its future endeavors, Red Dragon Poker Tour lists an eye-catching KRW 1,680,000,000 (~USD 1,236,390) guarantee for its first international appearance. The anticipated headliner Championship Event starts off on Tuesday, July 30th, running four flights in total through Thursday, August 1st. Each entry will set players back KRW 2,200,000 (~USD 1,620), and would have to work their way down to 15% of the field to collect a profit.
All entries start off with a deep stack of 50,000 in chips, equivalent to 250x the starting blinds. The qualifying rounds see 40 minutes on the clock except for the last flight, which plays through shorter 30 minute blind levels. By Day 2 down to the champion, 1 hour gameplay will be in effect, allowing runners to showcase their skills on the felt with more room for play. A winner will be crowned on the festival’s concluding day, earning the champion a surely sizable payout together with the inaugural RDPT Championship Event trophy for his victory.
