As the clock was ticking down, Myles Minns looked like a lock to bag the overall chip lead but then something happened.
“I made one mistake,” Minns said.
And that mistake sent a bunch of chips to Mikhail Chykiliov, who bagged an even 500,000 for a huge late-day surge.
But Chykiliov wasn’t the only one running hot, late in the flight. Julio Delgade, among the leaders for most of the day, grabbed the overall lead with 523,000.
Mike Chiappetta finished third with 415,000 followed by Lester Trimino (388,000), Minns (350,000), and Charlemagne Benjamin (350,000).
